Recognizing Compassion in Action in Bengaluru
During my visit to Bengaluru, I was delighted to see adorable pups and dogs. However, I was disheartened to learn that feeding them was discouraged. I strongly believe in showing care and compassion toward these voiceless beings—not just by providing them with essentials like food and water but also through measures such as vaccination and neutering to ensure their well-being and help manage stray populations.
Determined to learn more, I spoke with some of the security guards, which led me to the privilege of meeting Ujjwala Gowda, a remarkable individual who has made it her mission to ensure these dogs receive the care they need. She has already vaccinated most of the stray dogs in the area and is working on neutering them while finding homes for the puppies. Every single day—including weekends—she dedicates her time to making sure they get at least one to two meals.
She remains unwavering in her commitment to these animals, ensuring they receive proper care without seeking personal gain or recognition.
How You Can Help
The funds raised will be used to neuter the older dogs and vaccinate any remaining puppies, ensuring their health while helping to keep the stray population under control. With your support, we can provide these animals with the care they deserve and create a more compassionate community.
