Strawberry's Memorial Support

I am very sad to say that my dear friend Strawberry has died. Her family is struggling to afford the memorial service we feel she deserves. I am hoping to raise money through the people she has affected with her light through the years.

Strawberry and I met in 2012. She became an instant muse and friend of mine, and our relationship launched a multitude of artistic collaborations. She was a natural performer, with undeniable star power. The videos we created were watched and shared by so many people, all drawn to her unmatched charisma and rare spirit.

Her painful struggles with addiction and trauma were balanced by her persistent glowing energy and sense of humor. She was a polarizing force. I have seen her go from crying uncontrollably to singing motown in a single breath. I got to know her very well over the years, while we worked on a documentary film together. She was unapologetic in everything she did and I am very grateful to have captured her raw self on camera.

We are looking to raise 2,000 dollars to put toward her funeral costs and urns of her ashes for each of her children. If you are able to help in any way, it would mean the world.
