Strasbourg, France Psychiatric Internship

Hi family, friends, and neighbors! I had the opportunity these past four years to complete a degree in Neuroscience at Baylor University with an emphasis on pre-medicine. With heartfelt dedication, I worked hard to maintain my status on the Academic Dean's list to ensure that all I learn will be put into this world for the greater good.

As I am currently in the process of preparing for the Medical College Admission Test, I decided to spend my gap year expanding my knowledge about the brain's involvement in anxiety and mood related disorders. I have been accepted to intern abroad in France to work along side doctors, researchers, and other health professionals with the psychiatric services of the large teaching hospital located in Strasbourg. This experience, which will be completely in French, will help me acquire the skills required to pursue my goal of becoming a psychiatrist and provide me with insight on worldwide mental health problems.

I am asking you all, if possible, to donate to help pay for my trip abroad! All expenses will be towards the program fees, housing, meals, transportation, and activities.
