Straphanger Theater Ensemble is a new not-for-profit theatre company, based in Nassau County, NY. Straphanger looks to bring important and overlooked works of theatre to communities on both sides of the Nassau/Queens border.

With a veteran team of theatre makers at the helm, Straphanger is committed to producing top quality shows and to creating a unique theatrical experience! As we begin a new adventure, we are asking for your support as we look to build up our technical capabilities and generate the resources to produce high quality theatre that will move audiences. Our first stop in 2025 is a partnership at Westbury Arts and will feature The Goat or Who is Sylvia? By Edward Albee and Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare.
