Stranded Vet Lane Needs RV Fix to Survive
Donation protected
Hi. I'm Lane, a disabled veteran, & professional musician forced into retirement by medical issues, including CPTSD, COPD, damaged heart, thyroid cancer & more. I am in dire need of funds to pay for major engine repairs on my RV (my only home) & associated expenses. My total estimated need is $10,000. The most immediate need is to replace the timing belt, water pump & radiator, with an estimated cost of $2,500-$3,000.
Right now I'm stranded North of Las Vegas, Nevada. I can't move the RV, & have no air conditioning. Temperatures have ranged between 100-110° for the past several weeks. I have limited access to food, & only at very high cost, as the only store I can get to is a little market (think 7-Eleven).
I need to tow the RV to the repair shop, book a cheap hotel room for 2-3 days while it's being repaired & cover the cost of food. Any donation, no matter how small is greatly appreciated.
About the RV: My home on wheels is a 1991 Dolphin 900, built by National RV on a Toyots cab/chassis. Powered by a 3.0 EFI V-6. She's old & small, but is big enough for me to live in, & relatively cheap to drive. I'll post more over the next few days.
IMPORTANT NOTE: I do NOT gamble. I never intended to stay more than one night in the Las Vegas area. My first planned stop was (& still is) Houston, to visit my younger sister & her family. With your help, I may still get there before the end of the month.
