Stranded By Thieves

The morning of May 12 th Roesmary & Michael Galceran started their cross country move from Southern California to Kentucky. They sold almost everything they owned to make funds for the move due to the rising issue of living on the San Andreas Fault line & to be with family. 10 in a half hours into the move they stopped at Best Western Plus Rio Grande Inn to rest. My father asked the desk clerk if it was a safe area to stay as they had all they're belonging in a Uhaul parked outside. The worker insisted it was a safe place with a secerity system so they stayed.


The Morning of May 15th they got up to get back on the road and the Uhaul and the car it was trailering had been stolen. All of their belongs gone. All their money earned from the sale of the property and belongings was put in a safe in the back of the truck. My grandmothers medication, Furniture, work tools, backpacking gear, my grandfathers ashes, bedding, appliences, clothes, family memories their entire lifes work & everything they owned gone. The Theifs were caught on a secrity camera leaving with the truck a little before 6 am.

My Family is now stranded in New Mexico with Nothing.

 These are the kind of people who always help others before themselves. The kind of people who will do whatever it takes to make you smile. My father is an honest man who has always worked endless hours for those in need. A man who has been a first responder to accidents pulling & cutting people out cars.  A man who devoted his time and life to the lord. A man who worked at Calvery Chaple Conference center and poured his blood, sweat & tears for over 15 years.
