Britneys Breast Cancer Journey

My name is Britney, I just turned 29, and I have been married to my husband for 2 and a half years. Together we have 4 beautiful children, ages 1, 6, 7 and almost 9.

On November 10th I was diagnosed with Invasive Carcinoma Breast Cancer along with a span on 4x4x11cm of DCIS. My tumor is 1.2cm, I am er+ pr- and her2+. The estrogen is feeding my cancer, and the her2+ is a protein that over produces cells making this a more aggressive cancer. Thankfully we caught this early and we are hoping it hasn't spread to my lymph nodes.

My treatment plan so far is to have a mastectomy, followed by chemo for a year, and medication for 5 years. This might change with my pathology report after surgery. However, I am hopeful that everything will go as planned.

I've had a lot of friends and family ask how they can help. This go fund me is for medical expenses such as co-pays and bills to come, travel expenses to all of my appointments, food, even items to help me after my surgery and through chemo, and anything else that arises.

I know things are tight, and of course this all happens around the holidays. I just want to thank you if you are able to help. Even a prayer or positive vibes for my family and I through this journey.
