Stott Sibling's U23 Worlds Campaign

Donation protected
The Canadian team selection trials for the under 23 (U23) world championships took place in Montreal on June 19th, 20th, and 21st. We are proud to announce that we have both qualified for the U23 World Championships in Monetemor-o-Velho, Portugal at the end of July.

Jeremy will be competing in the C2 1000m event with partner Evan Bezemer (who he placed 7th with at the 2013 Jr. World Championships in Welland), as well as the C4 500m event (with team members Evan, Drew Hodges, and Tom Hall). Courtney will be racing in the K4 500m event along side Alanna Bray-Lougheed, Alexa Irvin, and Maddy Mackenzie.

Even though we are competing in different events, to be representing Canada together at the same championships has been a dream of ours for a long time. Knowing that we are there for each other is something very special and exciting.

Our trip is self funded and we are looking to offset the cost which is $4200 each. These costs include:
-         Accommodations at camp and in Portugal
-          Food stipend for families while in camp
-          Three meals per day in Portugal
-          Travel to and from the World Championships in Portugal
-          Competition Clothes
-          Accreditation
-          Medical services onsite

We would like to thank our coaches, parents, grandparents, training partners and supporters who have made this possible. We are very thankful for the contributions from family and friends to make our campaign successful! Stay tuned for updates on our training and racing.
