There has never been a better time to teach people the power of listening.

For almost a year now, I've been working for the Compassionate Listening Project, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering individuals and communities to transform conflict and strengthen cultures of peace. We teach people how to listen deeply, to set aside judgments to really hear each other, and to humanize those we disagree with. I believe it is a critical time for these skills. 

The project just completed our 33rd journey to the Middle East in November 2018, where 22 human beings learned skills to listen to "the other" and put those skills into action.  And we brought along an award-winning filmmaker to help tell our story!!  With his help, we will create cutting edge videos to share the important work happening on the ground in the Middle East. We hope to also increase our ability to tell our story and to highlight the important role Compassionate Listening plays in our ability to bridge divides. 

I'm helping raise funds to pay back the loan we got for this project. Your donation will go directly to covering our filmmakers travel and ground expenses.
