My name is Olive Kimbrell, I'm a junior in Film & TV Production at USC, and I'm from Cleveland, Ohio!

This semester I am entering my thesis project. CTPR 310 is the pinnacle of the major at USC, a culmination of everything we’ve learned, an all-consuming crash course in what we love to do, and an incredible experience.

It is, however, self-funded! WOOOOoooᵒᵒᵒᵒ

Our team includes Alex Luce as cinematographer, Nathalie Genyk as producer, and is composed by Charlene Soo and Andreu Deport. All funds will go toward composing facilities, food for cast and crew, and a studio teacher for our young lead actress.

Our film follows Penny, a bubbly creative beaten into gentle silence by cruelty.

While bound to a school counselor’s office for truancy violations, she sketches a storyboard to distract herself from life–only for it to become a vision of the future, the reason she decides to keep living it.

I decided to make Storyboard out of gratitude for every person who has had an impact on me in this portion of my life, and who made the "one more day" period worth it. Any contribution is so endlessly appreciated.

This film will be filmed in late November, screened in Norris Cinema Theater on December 14th, and Vimeo links will be distributed following the screening!
