Stormy’s bilateral TPLO surgery

Hi everyone,

My name is Alexia and I’m reaching out with a hopeful heart to ask for help for my sweet dog, Stormy a 2-year-old Chow Chow with a heart as fluffy as her coat. Recently Stormy was diagnosed with tears in both of her cranial cruciate ligaments (CCLs) in both knees which has made it incredibly painful and difficult for her to stand, walk, or play.

The only way to relieve her pain and give her a real chance at a happy mobile life is through double TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgery. This specialized procedure will correct the instability in both knees but the cost for everything including pre-op care, both surgeries, medication, and follow-ups is $8,421 (on the low end).

This amount is overwhelming but I’m determined to do whatever it takes to help Stormy. She’s more than just a dog, she’s my best friend and constant companion. At just 2 years old she should be enjoying long walks, zoomies in the yard and all the fun that comes with being a young pup.
