Help Save Stormy’s Life!

Stormy Eugene Phillis is a 13-year-old Nebelung male kitty. Stormy is adored by his Mom (Amy), three human sisters (Hannah, Hailee, & Meiya) and his kitty sister (Chloe).

Stormy came into our lives by climbing up the weather stripping of our front door. We weren’t looking to adopt a kitten at the time, especially as our elderly dog was making her way out of the world. But that little fluff ball was persistent and it didn’t take him long at all to eventually claw his way into all of our hearts. We named him Stormy and he’s made all of our lives so much better.

We found a lump in September of 2023. It was small and barely noticeable. We thought nothing of it, as he was still acting normal. We stupidly believed him to be okay and didn’t take him to get seen until January 2024. A FNA was completed at that appointment, and it came back showing no signs of cancer. We celebrated, but our joy was short lived. About a week after, Stormy started to sneeze blood. We took him back in and were prescribed an antibiotic to treat upper respiratory infections. The antibiotic worked for a brief amount of time, and the lump even seemed to be getting smaller. We thought we were on the road to recovery.

Unfortunately, he recently began sneezing blood again, and he’s also become congested, and after performing another FNA, the test results came back showing abnormal cells.

On March 4th, Stormy has an appointment to get a punch biopsy done to know exactly what the cells are. They plan to put him under for the procedure and also take a blood panel.

We don’t know the exact price of what everything will be. We know he will need some kind of treatment after the procedure is completed. We estimate the cost of everything will be around 2k, which we cannot afford ourselves, which is why I’m coming on here asking for your support.

Stormy is a such a sweet boy. He still has so much life left in him. Everyone who meets him adores him. He still acts like a kitten - he loves to chase his sister, loves to cuddle everyone. He loves food and playing in the water. He’s not ready to die. It’s not his time yet.

Every dime that is earned will go toward Stormy’s treatment.
