Tonight the McPherson Family is recovering from a devastating home fire and they need your help to get through this tragedy. If you don't personally know the McPhersons, chances are you've seen a member of this special Houston family. Lawrence McPherson is a single father and local actor-on-the-rise who's been blessed to have appeared in film alongside the legendary Al Pacino, Sean Patrick Flanery (Boondock Saints and Saw 3) and Cameron Richardson (Alvin & The Chipmunks). His sister Sparkle McPherson is a local private chef, caterer and single mom who's appeared in live cooking segments on KPRC Channel 2, The WB 39 and Fox 26 News. Their beautiful mom is the super supportive, cancer-surviving Brenda McPherson, who is also a beloved nana to their kids -- if Brenda can survive cancer, she'll surely survive this! Brenda, Sparkle and her 9-month-old son Storm lived in the home together with a spunky Pomeranian, that suffered from smoke inhalation. Lawrence's family cat was also visiting the family during the fire and is currently in emergency veterinary care fighting for its life, too.
