Storms & flooding destroy East Libya

The cities of East libya and specifically Darna, were hit by a devastating storm on September 11, 2023. The storm brought heavy rains, strong winds, and flooding, causing widespread catastrophic damage and loss.

The aftermath of the storm have left 10s of thousands homeless who are seeking refuges mainly in school or temporary Accomdation. There has also be a large number of widows who are now struggling to fulfil their Monthly rent as they have no incomes.
