Storm’s Emergency Vet Bills

Many of you know of my brother and sister in law because of their dogs, The Newf Crew. Last night Storm (TJ’s dog and first ever pet of his own) was admitted into the emergency vet ICU and is in critical condition. There was an incident Friday morning with the dog sitter while they were away on their honeymoon. They were unaware of the severity so asked friends to check on him. He was found to be in very poor condition and they rushed him to the emergency vet while Mackenzie and TJ made their way home. As of this morning, they suspect sepsis and Storm was given a 50/50 chance of survival and the billing estimate increases significantly with each check-in.

TJ and Mackenzie are the most humble people I know and have the biggest hearts. They would never ask for a handout, and will probably be upset with me for starting this, but after the absolutely terrible year they’ve had dealing with family losses and huge financial hits while planning a wedding, I know they could use the help.
