Stormi emergency surgery

Our beautiful girl is only 4 and a half years old and is currently undergoing emergency surgery.

She has a fork stuck inside her, and without immediate surgery she would not survive. Everything has happened so suddenly and we are completely devastated. Watching her in pain has been one of the most traumatic experiences for our family. She is not just a dog — she is part of our family, our children’s protector, their best friend, and a huge part of our daily lives.

We only lost our other dog a few months ago, and we are still grieving that heartbreak. To now be facing the possibility of losing her too has emotionally broken us. The children are confused and frightened, and as parents we are trying to stay strong while falling apart inside.

Tomorrow, 25th February 2026, is my son’s birthday. Instead of celebrating, we are sitting in fear and uncertainty while she is in surgery. It’s impossible to put into words how painful this timing is for our family.

The financial impact has been overwhelming. We owe £10,000 to Ralph Vet in Merlow and £5,000 to North Surrey Veterinary Services. we have been told we must pay this off within three months.

We would never ask for help if we had any other choice. We are doing everything we can, but this is more than we can manage alone. Every single donation, no matter how small, will go directly towards her life-saving treatment and helping us meet the three-month deadline.

If you cannot donate, please consider sharing. Your support, prayers, and kindness mean more to us than you will ever know.

Thank you for taking the time to read our story and for helping us fight to save our girl.
UPDATE!!
Stormi had her CT scan, which showed a wooden fork stuck in her stomach. Unfortunately, it had pierced one of her organs, which meant she needed emergency surgery last night. Thankfully, the surgery was successful. We are beyond grateful to say she made it through. She’s had a good night recovering and has even managed to eat, which feels like such a huge positive step. We’re still waiting for her to be well enough to bring her home from the vets, but we are staying hopeful and taking things one step at a time. Thank you so much to everyone who has supported us, prayed for Stormi, shared our page, and donated. It truly means more than we can put into words. Your kindness is helping our family get through this incredibly distressing and financially burdening time.
