The San Bruno Girls Softball League (SBGSL) is a non-profit fast-pitch softball organization built on the idea of development and success through positive coaching, hard work and a whole lot of fun. Our goal is to provide a platform for young female athletes that helps build confidence and self-esteem.
As part of our commitment to developing talented athletes, SBGSL organizes San Bruno Storm. Storm is the SBGSL’s highly competitive all-star tournament travel team, fielding teams in various age levels. The San Bruno Storm Program, like all recreational all-star programs, was established to give young female athletes and student athletes a place to build upon their passion for the game in a more competitive environment and under a more experienced team management. Storm offers a higher level of softball competition and skill building. Our goal is to prepare our players to succeed at all levels of the game of softball which we hope translates to their daily lives as they strive to become better students and leaders.
This year our Storm 12UB team has qualified for ASA Western Nationals in Medford, Oregon July 26th through August 2nd, 2015. As our families prepare for the weeklong stay in Medford the fundraising efforts have begun. We are reaching out for sponsorships to help subsidize the cost of travel and tournament expenses. We hope you will consider making a donation to help assist our fundraising efforts.
