Hello, my name is Mackenzie Wood. I appreciate you taking a moment to read my story.

On March 30th, a severe thunderstorm with 70-80 mph winds caused a huge tree limb to fall on my boyfriend & his family's home, leaving them with endless amounts of damage & no homeowners insurance. This caused a lot of damage to the outside as well as the inside. This is the first house they've ever owned, & they were proud of what they could now call home. They were in the process of getting insurance on the house. They've owned the house for only 2 weeks.

My boyfriend is the most selfless man I've ever met. He would give the last penny to his name to help someone else in need. He gets 10 steps forward & life just keeps slapping him in the face every time he turns around. My boyfriend's bedroom is currently too dangerous to enter, the kitchen is flooded, and they had to cut the power line due to it being unsafe. This tree needs to be removed ASAP; otherwise, my boyfriend is going to lose everything he's worked so hard for over the years. I ask from the bottom of my heart to please share this on any platform you can. If you knew his story, you would know what a huge devastation this is to him and his family.

Any money donated will go directly towards removing the tree from the home & making any repairs that are needed to be able to call this place home again.
