Let's Storm Heaven for Baby Nathaniel!
Nathaniel Victor Baltazar Rivas was born to parents, Sarah, Victor and sister Kimberly on Saturday, March 4, 10:30 PM. What a baby blessing! Yet, Nathaniel has had complications from the beginning. He was born not breathing and was rushed to the Intensive Care Unit. Since then, his breathing tube is helping sustain him and heart x-rays have shown that he has an enlarged heart and has a "narrow" in his heart where part of his heart isn't functioning and is effecting other organs.
Next step...open-heart surgery.
On the evening of Thursday, March 9, Nathaniel was air lifted to Los Angeles Children's Hospital where doctors and nurses are better equipped for heart surgery and more testing. Test results show and reflect damage to Nathaniel's liver and kidneys, hence, surgery on his heart is being delayed until his organs have healed.
This has been a difficult journey for the family, as one can imagine. This GoFund is being setup to better assist the family with expenses that have incurred and will continue with hospital bills, gas, food, etc.
And, most importantly, let's storm heaven with prayer for baby Nathaniel, Kimberly, Victor and Sarah and supporting family with your prayers and support!
