Tree Falls on Tammy Gray’s Home

My mom, Tammy Gray, was sitting in her favorite chair in Covington, GA during a big storm last night when she heard a loud boom and pieces of her ceiling fell onto her. Disoriented, she grabbed her dog and sat in her closet until the storm passed. Water was running through the middle of her house, and it was a scary time, but thank goodness, she is okay. We spent today getting all of the things that she loves the most out of her house (and trying to do so before the next rain, as we fear the tree will continue its descent as the ground and ceiling beams continue to get wet and soften). Unfortunately, her little one-bedroom house that was built with love by her great grandparents is beyond repair. However, and most importantly, Momma is safe and is staying with her mom while she figures out what to do next.
