Storm damage, broken hearts & trying to rebuild

Imagine this: it’s your birthday. You’re surrounded by laughter, love, and the people who know you best. Then, out of nowhere, your phone rings. It’s your partner and their voice is shaken.

They tell you that violent, tornado-like winds have swept through Brooklyn. In the chaos, the storm ripped through the roof and triggered the sprinkler system in your building. Not just your unit, but the entire wing. Over 50 gallons of water have poured through, flooding everything.

That surreal moment? It's our reality.

Our home, the space we’ve built together, has been damaged. We’re still trying to wrap our heads around what’s next. And honestly… we could really use your help.
