Stories of Hope and Wonder is a project which aims to, translate children’s books from English, German and Dutch to Persian, Uzbek and Pashtu, but also to collect and rewrite indigenous stories and fairy tales for children of Afghanistan. The aim is to inspire love, courage, open-mindedness, tolerance and peace in them, to give them the courage to dream big and to be curious.

While the Taliban have banned millions of children from going to school, we are working with world-class illustrators, storytellers, and writers to design colourful and inspiring books for our beautiful children, the future to come, at the Gilgamesh Foundation. We need your support to print, send, and circulate these books. Please help us and invest in the future of our children. Pay the printing cost of one, two, or ten books. The more, the better.
