Hi I want to tell you about a great family I know. My daughter Jacqueline and her family. Almost 5 years ago their little boy was born prematurely but was healthy. But at 10 days old he was rushed into the hospital because he was extremely lethargic. It ended up their little boy had meningitis. It thankfully did not make it to his brain but was in his blood, urine and spine. He spent 42 days in the NICU. He finally beat it but now has a weak immune system because of it. Then in April mom had a bad fall down the stairs and broke her ankle. As a result she had to have surgery and have a plate and 8 screws put in her ankle. During that time friends, family and strangers came together to support them during their time in need. Things have been going good for them since. But most recently Dad was offered a job in another city that was an amazing opportunity. So they left their home in Windsor and moved 3 hours away for this new life. Once they were there they started to get things situated but during that time an issue arouse that could make their son extremely sick and they had to move back to Windsor. They exhausted all funds for this move because it was a great opportunity that unfortunately crashed. They are now staying in a shelter but have found a home for March 1st . But have been locked out of their storage unit. Odsp will not cover the cost to have it unlocked and they have exhausted all other options. The funds they have coming in at the end of the month is covering their rent and moving fees but they need their belongings. All furniture, clothing, kitchen and personal items. If you can find it in your Hearts to help them out it would be forever appreciated. A little goes a long way. Please help them so they don’t lose their stuff. Thank you
