Detoxify Seaweed Sargassum into Cheap Biological Fertilizers
37 million tons of topsoil is lost annually in Haiti due to the erosion and deforestation. Too many people in Haiti have no means to secure their next meal.
More than 25 million tons of seaweed Sargassum are invading our beaches in Haiti, causing hundreds of hotels, restaurants, public beaches to close, because the unpleasant smell of hydrogen sulfide emanating from these algae. Additionally exposure to this vast amount of hydrogen sulfide poses a medical threat to the population of Haiti as well as threatened the growing tourist business which provide viable jobs for our people in Haiti.
Mortality rate upon concentrated hydrogen sulfide exposure commonly exceeds 90% because of the gas's lethal, non-contained nature.
Haiti is yet facing another economic and medical disaster if we do nothing in the next seven days. The possible solutions are:
Collect these algae from the beaches of Haiti, transform them into viable agricultural fertilizers to assist us in revitalizing the 37 million tons of wasted lands into food producing arable parcels for our country.
Provide our farmers with a biological fertilizer that costs three times cheaper than chemical fertilizers in order to have an agricultural revival worthy of its name.
Clean the beach front of these hotels and restaurants so to prevent the destruction of the tourism industry and save thousands of jobs.
To accomplish, we need help and money because it will take heavy equipment to do the job, trained the workers to this new technology, fund the collection of these algae, clean, grind and conditioning them into a 10% biological agricultural organic fertilizer.
Help us feed our families, save our lands, create new jobs, rebuild the economy of our country!
Any financial contribution, even the smallest will be appreciated...
