Stop Funding Misinformation

The recent sudden explosion of misinformation has injected a toxic cocktail of conspiracy theories, hate, racism, and lies into our politics. Misinformation stokes fear, hate, misogyny, racism and religious intolerance. It can even swing elections. And there is evidence that it causes mental illness, especially among young people.

Stop Funding Misinformation campaigns to stop advertisers funding sites that produce misinformation and clickbait. Misinformation corrupts our politics, damages our democracy and hurts society. It drives hate, polarisation and racial and religious intolerance. Big brands should not be funding these organisations in pursuit of profits.

Our campaign is always limited by resources and the time we can spend on it. We would love to create videos, promote our campaign, and fund other new ways of getting more people involved in the fight against misinformation. If you believe in our campaign and our values, please help us grow by donating now.
