Hey, I'm Kimberley. some of you will know me as Lips from the band Permission Slip.
You will also recognise my face, from where I have helped you as a community First responder, working for the south west ambulance service.
And taught your kids Football as a coach for WCFC, and looked after their wellbeing as the welfare officer and first aider of the club ❤️

On October 29th 2020, i walked (maybe a little shoved) into Salisbury Hospital and had a scan due to an itch in my boob. Within the hour they had diagnosed Breast Cancer.

It came as an absolute shock as I was only 33, and my babies 3/10.

Further histology showed that it was Grade 3 So extremely aggressive. And borderline stage 3 due to size.

I under went Chemo, surgery, radiotherapy immunotherapy herceptin treatment, endocrine treatment.

In 2025, i was considered clear, and in remission.

In February 2026, i started getting migraines in my head, pressure at the back of my skull, pressure in the front of my eyes. My vision had started to go blurry and I couldn't focus.

I went to the opticians and was told I had good sight. It didn't make sense. I then started smelling charcoal burning, when nothing was there.

I noticed a shift in personality as did others.

So I spoke to my oncologist, she organised a CT Scan of the brain. This came back clear.

Because I was still getting a headache, she refered me for a Brain MRI. Sadly this showed two small lesions.

I was then referred for a full body scan, Pet CT scan, another Brain MRI.

The full body scan showed a spread to a 3cm mass on my lung, multiple lesions on my liver, i then had to have several biopsies of my lung to determine, whether this was a new primary of the lung or if this was secondary breast. The Histology showed this was indeed metastatic breast cancer.

The Pet Scan revealed I had 6 tumors in my pelvis area, so it had spread to my bones.

Sadly the Brain MRI showed a further 10 tumors, 4 at the back of my cerebellum, a large mass on the frontal lobe, a cluster on the top of both sides of my brain.

The disease had spread quite rapidly and I was referred over to neuro specialist in Southampton.

She confirmed spread, and sadly informed us, she may not be able to do the scan as there is potential for more mass to be discovered, if its in the wrong place they will not be able to do the procedure. My time on this earth will be months not years.

My boys are now 16/9

I am desperate to spend as much time with them as I can, especially my youngest.

The first time i was diagnosed I made those five years count, i went to college and finished with a Distinction/Distinction. I became a Community First Responder, so I could give back and say thanks. I am in my final year of uni.

And my most favourite of all the lead singer in a rock band known as permission slip ❤️

The reason I am asking for your help, is so I can organise funeral costs, basic funeral is just under £5000 also to get a hand with medical costs, travelling, fuel, parking, overnight stays, childcare costs etc. And most importantly memorable moments spent with my babies xxx

Anything you can give, even in the most littlest detail, will still make a ripple in a large lake. I don't have much time, and i want to make it count x
