The Residents of St Catherines Road are reaching out to all those who object to the development of the Southbourne crossroads carpark site in a final bid to try and stop, or at the very least, reduce the size of, the development of this car park.

As residents of the adjoining terraces, we have concerns that the proposed construction may potentially obstruct the natural light currently accessible to the terrace properties. Therefore we have instructed for a right to light survey to be conducted and are asking anyone who is against this development to please make a small donation towards the costs of the surveys, we had hoped that the developer would have conducted such surveys, however, because they haven’t, it is now left to the residents once more. With over 2500 objectors, even if everyone contributed £1 this would pay for the surveys, so any amount really will help us.
