Help Healthcare Worker with Immigration Legal Fees

We are Carlo's cousins, Andrea and Anna. Carlo is currently STILL facing a removal order, and we are fighting to help him stay in Canada. The legal fees are piling up, and he is legally not allowed to work. We would greatly appreciate any help to pay for his legal bills. 

Carlo is still doing what he can to support our family - helping our single aunt tend to her garden and driving our family members to and from essential work and appointments. Carlo is an integral part of our family and we can’t imagine life without him.

On May 11, a Toronto Star article was published about Carlo Escario, a frontline COVID hero, who was set to be deported on May 13, 2021. Our organizers launched their campaign to #KeepCarloInCanada at 5:00am the next day. We called Liberal Minister Mendicino to stop Carlo’s removal. Our Action Guide allowed hundreds of supporters to contact their Member of Parliament. The Change.org petition started by Rohana Rezel went from having under 200 signatures to over 35, 000 signatures in under 36 hours. The pressure we put on Minister Mendicino worked, and Carlo was granted additional time to receive his second Pfizer dose, a COVID-19 vaccine that is not available in the Philippines.
