Stop Cruelty to Albuquerque Cats
Donation protected
Introduction
We are a team of concerned citizens raising money to fight animal cruelty within the City of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Specifically, we are raising funds to support a legal battle aimed at reducing the suffering of cats that have been abandoned outdoors. Cats dumped outdoors have a tough life and are exposed to many dangers, including: cars; diseases; predators; poisons; and more. These cats need a chance indoors where they can live safe, long and healthy lives!

Please Help
Please help support the cause. Every dollar helps the goal of fighting animal cruelty, and improving the quality of life for cats and residents of Albuquerque and beyond. The results of this fight could set precedent and one day reach your community. Please step up and show your support.
The Legal Battle
Albuquerque resident and plaintiff, Marcy Britton, has already dedicated tens of thousands of dollars to attorney fees and other expenses to support the legal battle. It's time to step up and show your support for cats, our environment, public health, and residents of Albuquerque and beyond. **Funds will go directly to the legal firm retained by Marcy Britton to support the on-going litigation.**
Background
Marcy Britton recently filed a complaint in federal court that would, if successful, require the City of Albuquerque to responsibly manage cats within city limits. Currently, the city is supporting programs that trap, sterilize and vaccinate, and then abandon cats back into the city without regard for the cruelty to the cats and without regarding for compliance with existing City, State, and federal regulations.
