Stop the CWSB March 17th January 2026

Donation protected

On the 17th January 2026 we will march on London in our biggest ever protest march since the Children's Wellbeing and Schools Bill was published.

Why do we oppose this Bill?
This bill will -
  • Introduce a digital ID for children that will be lifelong.
  • Put children at greater risk of having their data leaked to a known abuser.
  • Give local authorities a parental role (with regard to education).
  • Implies that if you do not allow an unqualified person into your home, that you will be seen as guilty of hiding something.
  • Increases the burden on those fleeing from domestic abuse at a time of turbulence.
  • Redirects finances away from services and families that need it most.
  • Risks bad quality data handling being the norm and AI standard for organising data of vulnerable children.
  • Places additional burdens on third-party education providers.
  • Creates a situation where local authorities become 'judge, jury and executioner' over families’ lives with no appeal service.
  • Put unnecessary burdens on home educating families without any support for families forced into home education.
  • Encourages a breeding ground for prejudice and discrimination behind closed doors.

To achieve this we will need to cover additional costs;
  • Licensing
  • Merchandise
  • Leaflets
  • Professional Stage including sound system
  • Lanyards
  • Banners
  • Promotional badges

Our past success has lead us to build bridges with some amazing children's rights activists, as a result this protest will combine all our efforts in the biggest protest to date!

We know many people with SEND (or children with SEND) cannot be present so it's important that those not able to attend are still represented.

We are committed to organising a large-scale demonstration that reflects how important this issue is. Achieving this scale and impact requires raising sufficient funds to cover all operational expenses. Specifically, amongst other things, we need to fund the event licensing, effective leaflets, professional staging and sound systems, and some transport costs for those who are travelling a long way to speak.

Be part of something big!

Together we can stand up for our children!
