stop police seizing our guns for no reason

My name is Andrew Alger. I am a deerstalker and pest controller from Devon. In August 2021, I renewed my shotgun and rifle certificates as I do every five years without trouble. At the end of August, armed police seized my guns. Since then, Devon & Cornwall Police have not told me why.

I am appealing against the revocation of my certificate. Part of the appeal is to get my guns back. The other part is to stop police claiming Public Interest Immunity when they seize guns and revoke certificates. If the police get away with this, they will be able to seize anyone's guns and not tell them why.

It took ten months to get my first court case. That cost several £1,000s which, unfortunately, is not money I have. I have sold my house and am using those funds.
