Keep Hurst a Village and the College Lane Action Group are local community groups working in close partnership to oppose a major housing development proposed for the fields bordering College Lane, Belmont Lane, and Wickham Hill.

The site is currently owned by the developer Thakeham, who plans to build 75 new houses on this greenfield land. If approved, a development of this scale would have severe and irreversible impacts on our community.

To fight this, we are raising funds to cover the costs of professional planning consultants to help us formally challenge the application. Your donations will also support a vital awareness campaign—including a dedicated website and printed flyers—to ensure every resident is informed and our community's voice is heard loud and clear.
