Stop Kiss - Murmuration Theatre Co.
Donation protected
Hate crimes targeting LGBT individuals have climbed every year for the past four years, and incidents of political violence targeting the LGBT+ community more than tripled between 2021 and 2022.
This June, Murmuration Theatre Company will kick off Pride Month with a 25th Anniversary Production of Diana Son’s play, STOP KISS. Son’s play tells the story of two women who fall in love, and also navigates the fallout of the hate crime which leaves one of the women in a coma. In light of recent legislation targeting the LGBT community and the dwindling number of spaces for queer women across America, Son’s play is, unfortunately, more relevant than ever.
Donations of $20+ = Donor's name in our program + 1 free ticket for any performance
Our production will be hosted by the iconic Brooklyn gay bar, 3 Dollar Bill, and will be produced in partnership with and as a fundraising effort for The Audre Lorde Project and the Lesbian Herstory Archives.
