STOP IRAQI DEPORTATIONS!
On a Sunday, family day, God's day, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raided more than 100 Iraqi-American residents.
Since then, the ACLU, CODE LEGAL AID and other organizations were able to obtain a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) against ICE and the Government, which has been extended from Michigan to cover the ENTIRE COUNTRY. Iraqi-Americans detained in Nebraska, Tennessee, California, Illinois, Arizona, Nevada and elsewhere are temporarily covered under the motion that was filed. Although we have temporarily stopped planes from leaving with our community members, many families still need individual representation ASAP. These families need our help!
We are seeking donations to help these families retain proper legal counsel on an individual basis. We are asking your help.
