Hi, my name is Ron Taylor. I never imagined I'd be here—asking for help—but I also never imagined I'd lose my job for disclosing I was working through depression and anxiety.
I never saw myself in weekly meetings with the wife of the CEO - alone, with no HR representation or support, being gaslit and intimidated over and over again to admit to (provenly) false allegations that were manufactured 5 days after my disclosure.
I truly thought I'd see justice. Instead, I was forced into a secretive arbitration process that denied me any real path to justice while my employers endless supply of money and influence protected them from federal laws.
3 years later, I continue for fighting as the gaslighting and abuse my former employer put me through destroyed my confidence, ambition, and career.
Raised in a blue collar family, my job defined me, admittedly too much. Publicly embarrassed, harassed, and fired for allegations that were proven false - unable to help support my family, even myself - it was devastating.
I’m raising funds not just for legal support as I continue challenging the unjust and influenced outcome of my arbitration with a former employer—but to shine a light on a larger issue that affects millions of honest workers: forced arbitration.
These hidden contracts strip away our right to a public trial, silence victims, and protect companies—not people. When I came forward about my mental health, I thought I’d taken the first step toward healing. Instead, I was retaliated against, tormented for months, pushed out, shut down, and locked into a private system that felt rigged from the start.
Why I’m Asking for Support:
To continue my legal fight challenging the unjust outcome of arbitration. - After 3 years, despite an insurmountable amount of evidence provided that my company lied about retaliation and reason for termination, the arbitrator ruled in my employer's favor.
His reasoning, despite my employer's statements proven false and my. manager breaking down in tears when faced with evidence she lied - was "I had financial incentive" to lie.
My only recourse is a narrow path to challenge this ruling based on clear partiality, ignoring evidence, and overstepping his authority by ignoring state and federal ordinances (like FLMA). However the lawyer fees for this part of my fight I've been quoted at $25K+, with no guarantee of success.
To launch ALSAA — the Alliance to Stop Arbitration Abuse — a nonprofit aimed at helping others speak out and fight back. I am filled with conviction to use funds raised to start ALSAA, an organization to provide support, resources, and community to individuals who find themselves disenfranchised due to forced arbitration agreements and allowing employers to discriminate without repercussion.
To raise awareness about how these secretive systems allow companies to avoid accountability, especially when it comes to discrimination and mental health.
How You Can Help:
Every donation—big or small—helps me keep going. It’s not just about me. It’s about pushing back on a system designed to protect power, not people.
If you believe no one should be fired for being honest about their mental health—and that justice shouldn't be locked behind closed doors—please consider donating or sharing this campaign. Whether you realize it or not, many people in your network may have experienced this same injustice!
Even if you can't donate, sharing this with your network would be an enormous help.
Thank you for standing with me - thank you for your help and for your humanity.
