Bullying in Sports is in our news nearly every day. The situation within the Miami Dolphins locker room is a microcosm of what transpires in sports.

This is only the beginning in transforming sports and the world in which our youth participate. Efforts have been made to connect with media, telelvision shows, magazines, newspapers and online blogs to get the message out to parents, coaches, players and athletic directors. 

You can still join the cause and help spread the message throughout the country as we are planning a national tour to help promote the issues within the book. Through this book, we address the current culture in sports and present a paradigm shift on how sports can be viewed as a gateway to more effective bully prevention and strategies in our schools and communities. This book openly acknowledges the presence of bullying in sports, identifies the core types of bullies, the various type of bullying behavior and offers tools and strategies to directly address the situation. Then we present an alternative view utilizing the positive attributes often found within sports. These include team work, dedication, determination and pride. This book addresses the negative behavior within sports and simultaneously offer a positive alternative.
