*sigh!* Hi! I'm Susie. I hate to be here at this point, but am left with no other options. I am at imminent risk of losing my home and am desperate for help.

Without writing a book (that noone wants to read, really), I need $3500 at the end of March, 2026 to pay off a 3rd year of delinquent property taxes. In Florida, that is the limit before you are placed under lien by the state. This is my most pressing ask. I also have another lien against me winding through the court system due to unpaid HOA fees. What I owe to the state and to my HOA + lawyers and such equals roughly 23k. Yikes, right? But, for now, I "just" need the 3.5k to stay in my home.

I have been, for most of the last 12 years, begging from Peter to pay Paul. After not working for 4 years to take care of my mother, I was well on my way to getting back on my feet, but suffered a stroke in 2022, then lost both of my jobs in 2023.

Since then I have been unemployed or under-employed. I currently make enough money to scrape by (and thankful for it!), but have no means of paying off those very serious past due balances.

Man, I know times are really tough for everyone-- and I am definitely not the only one suffering. So, I am humbly asking you for a $13 donation-- the Swiftie way-- to crowdsource a chance for me to live out a quiet life with my cats. And if that amount is a bridge too far (and I totally get it), I ask that you share this around.
