Stookey's Club Moderne COVID-19 Employee Relief Campaign
As you all know Stookey's had to close down March 15th due to the current COVID-19 pandemic emergency. As a result, we were forced to lay off our wonderful bartenders that work so hard for us; Adam, Kelly, Saffiyah and Eugene. We are a small "mom and pop" bar and unfortunately don't have deep pockets to help them ourselves, which is why we are launching this campaign.
This fund is solely for our employees to help them make ends meet and to sleep a little more soundly.
It's important to us that you know how we arrived at the amount of our goal; we asked our employees what their unmet needs were for the next 3 months. What they told us added up to just under $9000; thus, that is our goal.
They would absolutely rather be serving you, being paid and receiving your tips than asking you for your financial support but in this economy they are not left with many options.
