Hello! We are Stony Brooks Men's Rugby Team. We compete as Long Islands' premier collegiate rugby team. Our team plays at the D1-AA level for the Liberty Rugby Conference. Our 15's side recently finished 15th nationally in the National Collegiate Rugby coaches poll.
We are asking for donations for our 7's season. Our 7's side will compete for a national title and represent Stony Brook at an international tournament in Bermuda during our 2023 season.
Why we need your help
Our budget was cut by $27,000 this year because of a budget cap implemented by our school's undergraduate student government. Four sports club teams were impacted severely by these cuts.
Our goal is to continue the tradition of rugby at Stony Brook and develop leaders on and off the field.
