STONESTRONG round 3!!

Hi everyone!! This is my brother-in-law John Stone! Not gonna lie but probably the strongest guy I know. I’m not talking about strong in the sense of his muscles. This guy has beat cancer twice. He takes care of my sister-in-law Liz who has Crohn’s disease which is extremely debilitating. He is an amazing father of two pretty awesome girls. He was working tons and tons of hours to take care of them. He injured his foot at work, and began not feeling well. So he called out of work a few days. He went to the doctor and had some bloodwork done. On the day they called to tell him the results he was out hanging Christmas lights because that’s just what he does. His bloodwork was so bad that 3 doctors called him within an hour to tell him to get to the hospital immediately. I honestly don’t know how he was functioning with a hemoglobin of 3. This quickly escalated and he was sent to Sloan Kettering cancer center and has been diagnosed with Tp-53 mutated Acute Myeloid Leukemia. The aggressive treatment he received almost 6 years ago caused his genes to mutate. Because of this he cannot receive normal chemotherapy. The amazing doctors at Sloan have enrolled him again into a clinical trial called TT1-622. This is a brand new treatment for his type of AML that has only been tested in animals. It is a very risky treatment that is probably going to make him a whole lot sicker, and put him at very high risk for complications. The doctors have stated that he needs to live near the hospital but the hope Lodge has no availability. The only option is to find a short term apartment to rent. I am asking for any kind of help that you can offer. Neither one of them are working and they are burning through whatever savings they may have had. I know damn well that he can beat this a third time because he is STONESTRONG!!!!! I love them so much and I hate to see them go through this again.
