On Monday night/ Tuesday morning election eve, Big Mike’s commercial grade smoker was stolen from Quick serve on Bear Lake Rd. in Apopka. This wasn’t just a hobby to Mike it was one job to support his family, as well as get to know his neighbors. It’s been a week and it has not been recovered, he’s been out with a tiny smoker trying to do his best. We are trying to help him recover, both the loss of the smoker and the hit to his income, a new smoker goes for $3500-5000, we are hoping to find a decent adequately sized used smoker to replace the stolen one, and of course it has to meet health and safety codes. Mike is a true southern gentleman who is just trying to support his family and is an integral part of our neighborhood, any help is greatly appreciated.
