On Christmas, while most families were gathered with loved ones, our friends at Perla Del Norte experienced a devastating loss — their food trailer was stolen.
Perla Del Norte is more than a small business. It’s a family’s livelihood, their hard work, and their dream. Like so many food trailer owners, everything they’ve built is tied directly to that trailer — the equipment, the prep space, the ability to work and provide for their family. In one moment, all of that was taken.
Since the theft, the community has shown up in incredible ways. We’ve shared their story across social media, news outlets have covered it, and countless people have kept an eye out — but as of now, there have been no answers and no recovery.
That’s why we’re starting this GoFundMe.
Funds raised will go directly toward:
- Replacing essential equipment
- Helping secure a new trailer or temporary setup
- Covering lost income while they are unable to operate
- Getting Perla Del Norte back on their feet and serving the community again
We know times are tough for everyone, and any amount — big or small — makes a difference. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser helps just as much.
This GoFundMe is being organized by To Be Frank Jax, fellow food trailer owners and friends of Perla Del Norte, to help support them during this unimaginable setback.
Thank you for standing with small businesses, for supporting hardworking families, and for helping Perla Del Norte rebuild what was stolen — but not broken.
