Stolen MacBook & Headphones From Car

Last night I drove out to Long Beach to visit my family. I grabbed my luggage & purse, but left my tote bag in the back seat, which included my MacBook ($3,500) & my headphones ($500), as well as other items. I didn’t grab my tote bag since my hands were full & I was planning to come back later for it when I needed to complete homework assignments. When I came back to my car, an hour later, my car was broken in to & my tote bag was stolen. I also had bins of clothes (which I was planning to donate) along with my boyfriends clothes (which I was going to wash for him) that was rummaged through. I am very devastated, as I had just recently invested in these electronics for school & music. Previous to my belongings getting stolen, a homeless man stopped me as I was walking away from my car & asked for my leftovers. I gladly gave them to him. Not sure if he was the one who robbed me. I don’t typically ask people for money, but in this scenario, anything would be much appreciated.
