STOLEN CAR. I need help.

Hello friends and family. While this is difficult for me to do, I am reaching out for help. My car was stolen on Saturday April 20th while in Tijuana for my daughter's dental appointment. As a single mom living off limited funds, going to TJ was the only way I could afford the get

her the dental care for braces she needs. We've been going to TJ for the past year getting her dental care taken care of, so the car being stolen came as a sudden shock to us since we were in a public (paid) lot. Luckily no harm came to us since my car was stolen while we were inside the dentist office. I filed a claim with my insurance immediately, and they finally called me today,4/26/24, telling me that they will not offer any coverage since I was past the US border (only 1.9 miles to be exact). It's especially disheartening to know they won't cover the loss when no where does it state that there is any exclusion for Mexico in my policy! Worst off all, I came to find out that when I purchased my vehicle, the dealership charged me for anti-theft tracking that they never activated!!! My daughter, who I have 50/50 custody of, and I commute daily from Menifee to Escondido and San Marcos for work and school. No longer having a car is greatly going to affect me being able to get her to school and myself to work. I am not in a position to get a car (whether new or used) from a dealership since I still have to continue making my monthly car payments until paid off even if I no longer have my car; I can't afford to have 2 car payments. I am in desperate need to find and purchase a used vehicle in decent condition to get us around ASAP. Any funds donated will be used to purchased a used car.
