Stolen Bike Fund for NHS A&E Nurse

Donation protected
On 14 April 2020, someone stole a bike from St George's Hospital in Tooting. It was the bike of an Accident & Emergency Department Nurse named Tim Sutton. He uses that bike to commute to work every day, and found it missing when he went to go home from work after a long day. In a time when health care workers are so vital, this reaches a new low. This site is to help raise the money needed for him to replace it (a Specialized bike purchased from Evans Cycles Wimbledon in 2019 with mud guards, rack, lock and light) so he can continue to cycle to work.

“To the person who decided today was the right day to nick a bike from St George’s Hospital, I’d just like to tell you who you stole it from. You stole it from Tim Sutton - a damn hard-working, overworked and underpaid NHS Accident & Emergency nurse, who was risking his health (and that of his family) by continuing to go into work every day and save lives at the peak of a pandemic. Someone who was at the end of another long day, and was looking forward to a few hard-earned days off at home with his 7-month old son – only to find his means of transportation home had been taken. How dare you, you absolute scum of the earth. It takes a special kind of evil to break into a locker full of NHS hospital staff bikes at any time, let alone right now. The bike had been purchased new in 2019 from Evans Cycles (his first new bike since he was a kid). I’m setting up a Go Fund Me page in an effort to help him replace it, as I know he won’t do it himself. Please help bring a little good back to the world today.”
