Stoke Athletics Club & Equipment Vandalised

Donation protected
Northwood Stadium has been vandalised over lockdown THREE TIMES.
At what should have been a very exciting time for City of Stoke Athletics Club due to the wonderful new track that has been laid unfortunately is a very distressing and worrying time due to the extent of the damage of the building and equipment. A few examples:
The changing rooms have been smashed to pieces.
Gates and shelters have been ripped off.
Chairs have been snapped out of the stand.
Walls have been smashed down.
Doors have been kicked in to get to S&C equpiment which has all been broken.
The polevault, high jump and training mats have been shredded.
The club is ran by volunteers one of the only sources of income are events and the new track would have brought in much more competitors but until everything is replaced and fixed it's not possible to run any events.

The Club, (as many sports club are), is a real lifeline to many people it's not just a hobby, or for fun or fitness it helps keep many youngsters on the right track and supports so many people's mental health as well as physical health. It is a devastating blow to the community. Athletes from ten years old to veterans, male and female have come out of lockdown looking forward to getting back to their training and have instead found the stadium and equipment destroyed.

There is so much money needed to replace and repair everything but initially City of Stoke Athletics Club is looking to raise £4k for some of the mats as without this the athletes simply can not train, anything over this amount will go towards  the rest of the repairs/replacement equipment.

No donation is too small, £1/£2 would be very gratefully received we are hoping that as everyone is suffering financially that if this post can be shared and liked and commented on, on social media as much as possible there will be enough awareness raised to get the help we need.  If enough people can give just a little and share as far as possible and as many times as possible over the next few weeks we would be extremely grateful. Obviously sponsorship would be grateful received at this time too.
