Stockport Honey’s replacement bees & beehives

Hi I’m Danny a hobby beekeeper based in Stockport.

The unprecedented torrential rain over the New Year (Jan 2025) lead to the River Mersey busting its banks.

All the bee colonies I had died via drowning, and all the Beehives are either destroyed, washed away or contaminated with river water from the river Mersey.

The UK’s bees are in severe decline, with habitat loss and climate change causing their numbers to plummet.

Over the last 3 years I have slowly been breeding and keeping healthy bee colonies as they are integral to our ecosystem by pollinating flowers, trees and crops.

I would be grateful to receive any donations no matter how small to help replace my bees and beehives.
