Imagine waking up one day, and you are laid up in the hospital in the ICU, both legs completely broken, another arm/hand shattered, fractured vertebrae, already had multiple surgeries with more on the way, months of physical rehabilitation ahead, and already have accumulated over $100,000 in medical bills (with more to come).
….Oh and …. you don’t have medical insurance.
Talk about a life altering occurrence that will take many months (possibly years) to fully recover from.
This happened to Binks - our fellow friend, acquaintance, sometimes DJ, sometimes smart-ass, all the time fun guy, who loves life to the fullest (I know this because he got me to finally go skydiving!), and has an all around great heart.
He recently got into a freak solo motorcycle accident right after having some dinner with friends - simply from not reacting properly while hitting a rough bump on some railroad tracks. It was an innocent accident, one that can happen to any one of us, that he has had to pay dearly for.
You can read more details about his medical journey in his GoFundMe, but I’m sharing (and mass tagging) this because it’s seems appropriate and Binks has a lot of friends….and GoFundMe campaigns really do help people, I know this because we’ve had to reach out to the community for help (for our own challenging situtation), and the support was incredible.
So please help Aaron if you can, whether it’s $20 or $200, the great thing is it all adds up in the end. If you can’t donate, then you can still help tremendously by simply sharing this GoFundMe link, because someone in your outside network might see it and also help. I personally know sharing works because that resulted in strangers also helping us with our fund.
