Ricky's Medical Fund

My husband Ricky Lima has end of the stage kidney failure  and goes to dialysis three times a week for four hours. At 18 months old, Ricky had complications with his urinary system which eventually led to end of the stage kidney failure. At the age of 21, his aunt (who was a match) generously donated her kidney to her nephew. About a year ago, Ricky received a diagnosis that his kidney transplant had gone into end of the stage kidney failure. This news was devastating and hard to swallow. At this time, Ricky and I were not insured due to the high cost of premiums and a substantial deductible. Ricky's medical expenses became a substantial part of our life. Ricky and I try to make small payments every month on each medical bill to prevent him from going to collections. Ricky and I understand not everyone is in a position to donate and we want to thank you for taking the time to read his story. Any help would be greatly appreciated and allow Ricky to focus on what matters his well-being. My goal is to help alleviate any stress due to high cost of medical bills and allow my husband to focus on getting himself better. He is my life and I want to see him get his life back  without the financial struggle that has been a source of frustration since he was very young.
