Floods in Somalia - Urgent Medical Care

As the death toll from the floods in Somalia nears 100, the affected communities are facing an urgent and critical need for assistance.

The devastating floods have not only left countless homes and livelihoods in ruins but have also unleashed a wave of diseases, including cholera, malaria, and various viral infections. The situation is exacerbated for individuals with pre-existing medical conditions such as epilepsy and diabetes, who now find themselves unable to access essential medications and are in desperate need of support.

In collaboration with our local partners and the Somali Medical Association, our primary objective is to establish a medical tent that can deliver fundamental healthcare to those who are most vulnerable.

Our projected estimate for setting up a medical tent is 700 - 1000 USD and estimate the cost to treat a single patient is approximately 10 USD. Your support can make a tangible difference in providing timely and essential medical care to those grappling with the aftermath of the floods in Somalia.
